COVID-19 Updates

To Our Valued Patients:

Eyes on Northshore is committed to the health and safety of our patients, our staff, and our community. While our mission is providing top quality eyecare and ease of availability for our patients, the current spread of COVID-19 has required our practice to take unexpected steps to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

In an abundance of caution due to the severity of this crisis, we have chosen to temporarily close our office for routine eyecare. We are closely monitoring this issue and will reopen the office as quickly as is safely possible. We made the decision to close in accordance with the American Optometric Association’s and the CDC’s guidelines regarding the need to postpone routine eyecare until this pandemic is under control.

However, we are still here for our patients! We will continue to see patients for emergencies either by phone/online consult or for in-office evaluation, if the situation arises. We are setting up protocols which will allow us to continue to provide safe and convenient care and vision therapy for our patients. Our commitment to your eye health is our top priority.

Our staff will be working remotely and will continue to answer office phones Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-3:00 pm and we will be monitoring voicemails during other hours. We will also be extending contact lens and glasses prescriptions expiration dates for patients whose prescriptions are recently expired and are unable to come into the office for a routine exam and/or contact fitting while our practice is closed.

While you can call us 9:00 am-3:00 pm weekdays to order contact lenses, we also have a new online webstore where you can place contact lens orders. All orders will ship to your home and we have authorized free shipping on all orders. And finally, because we understand that finances are difficult, we are discounting all contact lens supplies effective 3/29/20.

We feel it is essential to keep you updated and will continue to post updates on our Facebook page and via email. Please make sure you like our Facebook page for the most up to date information.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to call us. We are here for you and are praying for the safety of all our patients and their loved ones.
